ADOLESCENT GROUPS

Athletes are often praised for their discipline, resilience, and ability to perform under pressure. Yet behind the scoreboard, many carry stress, self-doubt, anxiety, perfectionism, injuries, academic demands, and the constant pressure to succeed.

Beyond the Scoreboard is a therapist-led group designed to help athletes develop the skills needed to thrive both in sport and beyond it. This group creates a supportive space where participants can connect with other athletes, explore challenges unique to competitive environments, and strengthen the tools necessary for long-term emotional wellness.

Together, group members will explore topics such as:

  • Managing performance anxiety and pressure

  • Building confidence beyond athletic achievement

  • Navigating setbacks, injuries, and disappointments

  • Balancing sports, academics, relationships, and personal life

  • Coping with perfectionism and fear of failure

  • Strengthening emotional resilience and self-awareness

  • Developing a healthy identity beyond sport

  • Enhancing communication, connection, and support systems

Whether you're preparing for the next season, recovering from a setback, navigating a transition, or simply looking for a space to connect with others who understand the demands of athletics, this group offers an opportunity to grow both personally and emotionally.

Because who you are is bigger than your performance—and your value extends far beyond the scoreboard.

Middle school can be a time of shifting friendships, growing social pressure, and changing confidence. Many girls experience feeling left out, unsure of themselves, or overwhelmed by peer dynamics—but don’t always have a safe space to talk about it.

Just Us is a small, therapist-led group designed to help middle school girls build confidence, strengthen friendship skills, and feel more supported. Through guided conversation and age-appropriate activities, participants will explore common social challenges, practice communication skills, and connect with peers in a supportive environment.

This 4-week group provides a structured, comfortable space for girls to share experiences, develop confidence, and learn tools for navigating friendships with greater ease.
